100k Combined Downloads for shinyLP & ttbbeer — A Big Thank You to the R Community

I’m excited to share that my open source R packages, {shinyLP} and {ttbbeer}, have officially hit 100,000 combined downloads!

This milestone feels like a great moment to pause and reflect on what’s been an awesome journey of building, sharing, and collaborating. I create packages to solve real problems I run into, and it’s been so cool to see that others find them helpful too.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to the R community. From the folks who have opened issues and submitted PRs, to everyone who has shared my packages, taught me something new, or used my work in their own projects — thank you. Being part of a community that values open-source contributions and pushes each other to do better & learn is one of my favorite parts of working in R.

As a huge proponent of building user-friendly, practical tools for data science, I’ve been diving back into package development during my time running Daly Analytics. I’m currently working on a new R package for Shiny developers, a set of tools aimed at making the discovery & learning process faster for jumping into new code bases. I’m excited to share more soon.

So here’s to 100k downloads — a great milestone, but just one stop along the way. Thanks for being part of the journey.
